Generally, gift cards have no expiration date, however your best bet is to check the Terms and Conditions of the retail brand. More here: eGifter Terms of Service.
That said, please note:
- Promotional cards, such as those given away during a contest or promotion, must be claimed within a specified time period as defined in the individual card terms. If a promotional gift card remains unclaimed beyond the specified time period, they will no longer be available for use.
- There is a limitation on eGifter Points, which do expire after 12 months. Please be sure to use them because they are equivalent to cash discounts!

If the retailer is no longer in business, your best bet is to visit their website to see how they are handling gift card redemptions. In some cases, Chapter 11 protection may apply. Per Terms of Service, eGifter is not responsible if any Gift Card is rendered unsuitable for redemption through no fault of eGifter. Gift Cards must be redeemed at the applicable Retailer's website or physical retail store, subject to the Retailer's then current terms and conditions. All Retailer Gift Cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the specific Retailer.
