Q: Why are my accounts being merged?
Per the eGifter Terms of Use, we only allow One Account Per User. For instances where a user has an account with their email address and also uses that same email address with a Social Login (like Facebook Login, Amazon.com Login, Apple Login), we merged them together, per our One Account Per User policy.
Q: Why is it necessary to verify my email address?
Email verification adds more security for your account during the login process.
Q: Is Guest Checkout available?
Since email verification is required, users have an account (even if you don’t have a password setup for access). By simply verifying your email address when you visit, you now get all of the eGifter member benefits, such as access to eGifter Points, eGifter Instant Points and other member-only opportunities to save money with eGifter!
Q: How can I access my current account?
Just login to your account as usual. You can also access your account by verifying your email address.
Q: How can I view my past purchases?
All past purchases for account holders are available in your eGifter Wallet in your Order History. If you have traditionally logged in as a Guest, upon email verification, all of your future purchases will also be available in your Order History.
Q: How is my 2 Factor Authentication managed?
If you had 2-Factor Authentication on your account, it works the same as it always has.
Q: How can I check balances of gift cards I purchased at eGifter.com?
A built-in balance check feature is available in the eGifter Wallet (for brands where this is available). For any card purchased at eGifter.com, you can check your balance once per day. For your convenience, we also link to the Balance Check Page for all brands that offer online balance check -- along with a phone number (when available). You can access these links from the eGifter Wallet or from egifter.com/gift-card-balance-check.

Q: I’ve never created an eGifter account. Why is it necessary now?
eGifter is committed to continuous improvement which includes security. As a result, we now require email verification when purchasing to improve the security on all of your purchases. By verifying your email when purchasing, you are essentially logging into eGifter without ever setting up a password (a feature known as Passwordless Login).
